The LUGAR Main Center and the SHEKINAH Conference Venue

Of all the designs of Lugar De Angelus, the above was possibly the toughest to design. It had to represent spiritual magnitude, yet anchor and balance the subtle energies in such a way that it would also create a sphere of financial, spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical wellness. It was the third building designed for the Lugar De Angelus wellness retreat, and the greater De Angelus Estates project.

The design of the complex is based on the Feng Shui Pa Kua, applying unique consideration with regard to polarity as well as spiritual placement, thus ensuring the layout is comprehensive and does not “miss” anything. The centre of the Lugar Centers’ total area is occupied by the Shekinah Conference Venue, thus a careful assessment of the site, in consideration of the Lo Shu, and assessment of the ti ch’i (earth), t’ien ch’i (heaven) and weather ch’i had to be made.

The 8 ancient Trigrams are applied when considering a site, laid out in the Later Heaven Sequence, incorporating the 5 elements as principle energies behind the manifested physical universe.

Since the equator or sun-path represents the phoenix fire element, and the arctic the tortoise, and the project is being constructed in the Southern Hemisphere, I mirrored the Pa Kua, to apply the Four Seasons or Celestials, as they pertain to the Southern Hemisphere.
Thus the fire=north=the equator and the South Pole= water= tortoise. It is important to mirror the directions to achieve the correct Southern-Polarity directions. The adjustments with regard to the polarity and representation on my simplified self-constructed basic Lo Pan, were applied throughout the designs. In the Northern Hemisphere, a south facing location is regarded as ideal, as to the logical northern fronts of the Southern Hemisphere, optimizing the solar power of the sun.

The element, animal, emblem and seasons remain the same, once the placement of the 6 directional changes to the Pa Kua were affected. Elemental cycles are also important in offering practical guidance with respect to enhancement and harnessing of the most advantages energies.

Once the footprint of the whole complex was auspiciously superimposed upon the landscape, the inner landscaping and grounding of the buildings, according to the Later Heaven Sequence was affected, to optimize inter-relation of the energies.

It became apparent that a greater energy was guiding the design process and I found myself guided to superimpose the Early Heaven Sequence upon the buildings and their applications… drawing on the ancient ideal heavenly order, thus anchoring such an energy placing through the vocation applications of the eight office buildings for the various treatment regimes.

A chart was created, displaying the aspects of the energies in terms of:
▪ Direction
▪ Later Heaven Sequence allocation
▪ Early Heaven Sequence allocation
▪ Applicable Trigram of the LHS allocation
▪ Applicable Trigram of the EHS allocation
▪ Elements of the Trigrams of the LHS and the EHS reflections
▪ Yin/Yang aspects of the Trigrams
▪ Interpretations of the above placements and the effects it would have, as well as the best enhancements in terms of the inner-building applications.

The Emblems of the Trigrams, their corresponding seasons and corresponding colors were assessed, along with the essence of the colors with respect to their placements.
Cistercian architecture forms the signature architectural style throughout the buildings of the Lugar de Angelus spiritual and wellness retreat. These buildings are classical, mystical and most definitely spiritual.

We are looking forward to constructing them, and are looking forward to receive those who will frequent this unusual retreat!

Quarts Bath: El El Elyon (Glory to the most High)

▪ The sacred geometries captured in the design of this bath were derived from aspects of the Metatron’s Cube as well as aspects from a tetrahedron.
▪ Cistercian arches, arched windows and bell-crowned windows as well as bell domes, were incorporated. The actual bath is the result of 2 hexagons projected over the greater triangle, which includes the waterways. There are 6 large columns around the bath and 3 further columns in the interior of the building, representing the angelic orders. I used the icosahedron for the skylight. It represents the sacred geometry encapsulated within the water molecule, which in itself represents life on earth… as without water and its’ inherent intelligence, humanity wont be able to exist. The encasing for the quartz crystals and lights is pyramidal, which refers to Pi or infinity.

The two crystal baths, El…El…Elyon and Eli…Eli…Eli, will be energized through the combination of crystals and light. The baths are dedicated to the Holy Councils.

El…El…Elyon, “Praise to the most High”, is designed unto the focal energies of Metatron, Michaelilu and Melckizedek. These powerful Devine entities are associated with white-light, as well as the complete light spectrum of the fourth and fifth dimensions. The crystals applied to this bath are prisms and quartz crystals.

Metatron, the bearer of the Ten Commandments, represents Keys of Information, Light-body activation and Spiritual Enlightenment. Metatron activates the transcendental Soul-Star-Chakra, initiating “light body activation”. He is the translated Enoch, having become the most powerful angel of YHWH.

Michaelilu (Michael) represents the 5th ray, which represents the Throat Chakra, thus representing communication and expression of the Power of JAH. The 5th ray is the first spiritual ray and is associated with healing. Michaelilu is the Protector, commander of the Legions of Light, the Power and the Will of The Devine, who protects the Power of Faith and Truth.

Melckizedek controls fourth-dimensional transmutation. He assists with “Merkevah” Light Body development, and his focus applies to the full fourth- and fifth-dimensional transmutational colour spectrum. He anchors the 4th dimensional chakra rays unto our physical 3rd dimensional bodies.

Eli…Eli…Eli is a holy mantra of one of The Devine Names. The bath will focus on violet- energy, violet being the 7th ray, has the shortest wavelength. It travels the fastest and is associated with healing transformation and spiritual growth.
Violet symbolizes the transition from gross physical matter, transmuting into Devine Light (Devine Alchemy). It vibrates sonic energy frequencies associated with the Archangel Zadkiel, and those omitted from Amethyst crystals.

Cosmic understanding and the “science of spirit” will be taught here, through the training of the Quantum grids.

Accommodation Units

The accommodation components will comprise of seven clusters, named after the Seven Heavens: Vilon, Raqia, Shehakim, Machanon, Makon, Zebhul and Araboth.

The clusters will contain a total of 54 two- and 90 three bedroom units, i.e. 144 accommodation units, plus 15 two-bed staff units, totalling 159 units. Each unit will sport luxurious finishes, focusing on stylish comfort, in order to facilitate spiritual unity in family- and/or relationship structures. The units will be able to sleep four or six guests per unit.

Rosea de Cielo (Heavenly Rose) restaurant complex

Lugar de Angelus is to feature a Restaurant Complex, Rosea de Cielo (Heavenly Rose), featuring “a la carte” (Phoenicia), “buffet or reception” (Rosaceae), as well as “terrace & tea garden” (Damascena) options. An Amphi-theatre, Nabucco, will cater for 3 600 visitors. A small chapel, Angel Rizing, founded on Cistercian architecture, will be available for intimate events.

This complex was structured on icosahedrons. Icosahedrons are sacred geometric shapes, and are also the composition for the molecular structure of the water molecule.

Water sustains all life on earth, therefore I wished to use this geometric shape to create and ground the restaurant complex energies, as food sustains the physical body.

The kitchens are accommodated in the central triangle, and the three restaurant facilities, comprising of the buffet, a la carte and the open terraced restaurant options, centered on it. The skylight hover overhead the kitchen area, taking on a pyramidal shape, incorporating an icosahedron. Metal grids are visible on the façade of the roof-line: these passages were created by the architect to hide the central air vent system.

Three of the outer spheres of the 2-dimensional view of the icosahedron, form the dome entrances to the restaurants. The fourth outer sphere was transformed into the “Embrace” fountain, outside the Rosaceae buffet restaurant, whilst the fifth outer sphere forms the setting for the “Venere Angelina” statue and moss enclosure. This created the central focal point between the two terraces of the Damascena open terrace restaurant.

The sixth outer sphere developed into the perimeter for the main office and the setting display showroom, where functions are carefully planned and mapped.

The floor space of the three inner spheres was applied for the creation of three separate ablution facilities, each serving an assigned restaurant. Provision for staff ablution facilities was made at the delivery station, providing easy access to the restaurant and kitchen staff, as well as office staff.

A dining experience at this complex is designed to impact on the patron, creating altered and heightened stimulation of all the senses. The ambience will surpass expectation.

Many metaphysical applications were applied during the design of this building. Some aspects on design, focal energies and color application will not be discussed: consider those aspects part of the mystical allure that will prevail throughout the De Angelus Estates and especially the Lugar de Angelus spiritual wellness retreat…

Angel Rizing, chapel

Studying the floor plan design of the church of Loc-Dieu, pondering on the consideration taken by the master builders in the creation of the best possible acoustics, since the time of Pythagoras (sixth century BC), I found myself astonished by the accomplishments and professionalism of these constructors.

Even though my design does not include the use of “Vetruvian jars” as does Loc- Dieu, careful attention was payed to dimensions of buildings with amplifying acoustic sound. Applying my own interpretation of dimension and sound, the result was a variation of the floor plan, even though my chapel’s floor plan vaguely resembled that of Loc-Dieu.

Not actually knowing what the chapel structure looks like, since I only managed to study the plan from a book – I was astonished when the architectural team, searching for some inspiration at the thought of giving my rough drawings structure and life, discovered in searching the internet, that the floor plan of my smaller chapel, also reflected the general design in the plan for the magnificent cathedral in Florence.

As I believe that Devine inspiration guided me throughout the process that became these amazing building designs, such coincidence is not hard to phantom. As the master masons of days gone by, I am also trying to create a little reflection of heaven and the sacred geometries, through the creation and essence of the De Angelus Estates project.

 

Nabucco Amphi Theatre, 3500 Seats:

It is foreseen to host at least one major international event, at this venue, once or twice a month, for nine months of the year. The months of June, July and August will be excluded, as to climatic considerations.
However, once the retreat is in operation, such considerations could be finalized.

Such events will take place on Friday and Saturdays, late afternoon. Thus, two concert events are foreseen during one weekend.
