Quarts Bath in Africa
-
The sacred geometries captured in the design of this bath were derived from aspects of the Metatron’s Cube as well as aspects from a tetrahedron.
- Cistercian arches, arched windows and bell-crowned windows as well as bell domes, were incorporated. The actual bath is the result of 2 hexagons projected over the greater triangle, which includes the waterways. There are 6 large columns around the bath and 3 further columns in the interior of the building, representing the angelic orders. I used the icosahedron for the skylight. It represents the sacred geometry encapsulated within the water molecule, which in itself represents life on earth… as without water and its’ inherent intelligence, humanity wont be able to exist. The encasing for the quartz crystals and lights is pyramidal, which refers to Pi or infinity.

- Great inspiration was derived from Villard de Honnecourt’s designs. Three pillars guards the entrance on either side, referring to the trinity accompanying the individual, then met by four windows(2 on either side) and a three-panel door(4+3=7=spirit) symbolic of passing to a different state of being.
